This is an outstanding result for our School and our Faculty, and an absolute testament to Milad’s ability to demonstrate the impact of his research in an engaging and accessible way. Milad’s innovative research presentation, ‘The Invisible Guardian of the Underground Galaxy’, addresses the many lives lost in the mining sector and aims to use a digital invisible guardian to predict accidents.

Well done Milad on this incredible achievement!
