Senior Lecturer in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering
Elena joined UNSW in 2019 as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Civil and Engivornmental Engineering and a member of the Centre for Infrastructure and Engineering Safety (CIES). Prior to her appointment at UNSW, Elena held a position of an Assistant Professor at University of Chile, Santiago, Chile, 2012-2019. Elena's research interests lie in the area of Computational Mechanics and Numerical Methods, with application to fracture mechanics, acoustics, bending and vibration of composite plates.
